  • Weird how allowing the states to decide is freedom when it concerns reproductive rights but is oppression when it concerns gun rights.

  • That is a wheel chair for a medical facility meant for temporary use inside of building and is not designed for someone who spends all day in one.

The article is specifically about custom fitted wheelchairs which cost significantly more than a standard medical grade wheelchair.

If you had taken anytime to read the article you would know this. Your willfully uninformed and off the cuff commentary is not helpful.

  • Arrr, matey!

  • So one might say:

    She's killing it 🕶️

  • No, I'm agreeing with you on the content of the article and its purpose here.

  • That's not the incentive you think it is.

Make sure you go deep. Need to get the whole thing to real show you're serious.

  • Fear, uncertainty, doubt.

Those three things are all any authoritarian thinker has to work with.

  • 8 year olds, dude.

  • Veganism isn't a social movement. It's a culture movement closer to religion than anything. It has special dietary and lifestyle dogma that one must adhere to in order to be a member of the group.

It merely attempts to leverage existing social movements to push its much larger agenda, as any religion does.

  • My point is that they aren't pushing or nudging, they are making a demand

  • This statement is why no one likes vegans. You're demanding that someone adhere to your believe system. It doesn't matter how well you can argue your rationale, the demand itself is the reason.

It's the same level of insufferableness as Christian Warriors.

  • Yes. We must know where they live so we can shit on their country to make ourselves feel better.

    'Merica!

  • Why would two dead women affect their ideology when dozens upon dozens of dead children has not?

  • But my corporate overlords arranged for a republican to speak at a company event. Surely if my corporate overlords vote for them, then I should vote for them too.

Didn't you know that voting is like clothing.

Vote for the socioeconomic position you want not the socioeconomic position you have!

Any day now and I'll be a billionaire!

  • May I suggest.

Click on a state to see its polling over time.

  • Now that everyone knows these exist they have to do a couple obvious fakes to draw away attention away from the insidious ones.

  • Usenet is the way but I've never witnessed someone who torrents see the light in a penny comment thread. Few people truly understand opsec and how to quantify their own risk surface, but those who do will gravitate towards Usenet.

Speed is also a factor. Casuals don't understand what it is to grab a release before a torrent has found the first seeder.

  • Keeping in mind the DSM used the word retarded until DSM V came out in 2013.

Another history fact around the DSM is that homosexuality was a mental disability but that was removed way back in 1974 and society didn't shift as quickly with it as it has now.

The issue with retard is that it is describing an actual medical condition and swapping the word isn't going to change that.

  • A rockstar developer doesn't churn out unmaintainable, by definition.

The number of people who think they are rockstar developers but clearly aren't is probably close to the number of cover bands who see themselves as undiscovered rockstars.

I've worked with people like this, their best hope is to fail upwards into management.

The only way to know if you are competent coder is for other coders to tell you. If none are telling you, your imposter syndrome isn't.

There are other signs as well but these aren't taught in formal education. An example being the ability to recognize how your old code could be improved. The way requirements stack over time makes this a certainty in any product.
