I'm a bit torn on the idea, myself. On one hand, fuck fascists, don't let 'em have an inch. But on the other hand, this does kinda take away a users' freedoms with the software.
Honestly, I think it's fine if it's a plugin or something that you can install at your own discretion or something. Or if it's baked-in, it should be an opt-in setting. I'm of the opinion that the actual software, itself, should be apolitical. It's something I can respect the Lemmy devs for, after all; even though I disagree with their politics, the actual Lemmy code is politically agnostic, and I think that's for the best.
Social anxiety is not at all uncommon. Therapy would only really be beneficial if the anxiety was causing problems in a person's life. It could be that the person you replied to may need to lie down after a phone call, and is then fully functional afterward. Unless they're bothered by this process or it somehow impedes upon their day-to-day life, it otherwise would seem like they already have their recovery mechanisms figured out and are doing well for themself. They're playing the hand they were dealt, and they're still in the game.
Do you have any filters in place on either account? Also, are you using your instance's web UI, or are you using an app or other frontend of some sort?
Ohh, that explains the really rich, deep colors they always used in the backgrounds. I loved the moody atmosphere that show managed to capture. Way ahead of its time, especially for a kids' cartoon.
IIRC, he was allegedly not supposed to laugh in that scene, and he was just caught off-guard by Gene ad-libbing the "morons" line, so that's an authentic laugh that they kept in the film.
I can't see any posts from the last year when viewing that from Mbin. Which is weird because I'm also somehow already subscribed to it, so I should be seeing newer posts.
Keep in mind, it's not a real score. That's only what that user sees, based on upvotes from servers their instance is federated with. My instance is federated with a different list of servers, so my score for you is slightly different at 25584. Somebody on a third mbin instance will likely see a similar, but still different score.
Oh there are. They're mostly just on instances that most of us are defederated with, and the rest tend to keep quiet when outside of their spaces.
