  • Probably something coded for white supremacists.

  • I still have to laugh that the right wing treats Obama like he was some kind of radical revolutionary. Same thing the way they had fainting spells over Biden.

  • If there are no consequences, the Republicans will find someone even worse to do even worse things the next time around, no doubt.

Just look at what they've done since Nixon. Nixon had no real consequences (though the cons have been salty about him resigning, and are endlessly butthurt that he had to even endure any shaming), which led to Ronnie Raygun - up until donnie anyway, the most criminal administration in history, as measured by the number of indictments. Ronnie Raygun's assault, oops, "revolution", on our country then culminated in motherfucking Iran/Contra.

Next was W and Cheney and then donnie. The Republicans learn nothing, don't moderate themselves at all and unless they are checked, all they learn is that they can get away with nearly anything.

  • That will go perfect with the way these idiots talk about "maga". They might as well be saying "Marklar".

  • I'm assuming this guy is still alive.

  • What super-charged his grift was those dumbasses that gave him that game show. He was known in and around Manhattan for being a loudmouth bullshit artist, and I think Stern would give him some time on the air because Stern probably thought it made for good content to showcase this asshole.

But that stupid show really amplified the grift. It's interesting how the show creators seem to characterize his "offices" as rather rundown and depressing, and no wonder.

I bet there is at least a plurality of Americans that still think he's a great businessman thanks to that bullshit show.

  • but Google Maps went ahead

    And Apple.

And you are exactly right. I don't mean to say the everyday American is switching to these new names donnie came up with; my point was that the powerful bent the knee, almost immediately, and with no objection at all. The only people adopting these in the everyday are complete choads.

  • “own the libs”

That's cool, because we can put anti-donnie stuff on every bit of paper currency that passes through our hands, but nearly for free.

Oh, and while you are at it, cross out that anti-American bullshit about trusting in their god. :)

  • gEnOcIdE jOe

  • Well, neither were the other name changes, but he did it anyway. And people bent the knee.

  • Yet again, Republicans vote for politicians who actively work to undermine those voter’s interests.

The need to own the libz. Also women, POC, LGBTQ, etc...honestly, the tribal, cult-like need to hurt others is really their brand. Even if they are repeatedly a shot in the shorts all the time in that process.

  • I hope donnie gets told to go fuck himself with a rusty chainsaw.

  • ZOMG, let me get out the smelling salts, here comes the SOHSHULIZZZMS to take away my freedumbz and my manhood!

  • I thought that was tiny-d donnie's uncle? Who passed on all his bigly smarts to donnie because "genetics".

  • You know, there used to be this long-standing myth that being a CEO or being the President [1] was one of the hardest jobs and all of us plebes just wouldn't understand why these people need to be showered with praise, power and of course, money.

Well, two unhinged wingers put the lie to all of that.

    1. Elon supposedly runs SIX companies. Hm, weird. I was told that CEOs are like star athletes who work so much harder than any single employee ever does. And yet, Elon has plenty of time to be on his Xitter and such. While supposedly doing the executive equivalent of a being a star athlete...

    2. Same for tiny-d donnie - this guy, possibly one of the stupidest people in American public life and yet got the morons of the country to vote him in, supposedly has the weight of the world on his shoulders, and has all the fucking time in the world to be trolling people online over shit like the names of gulfs, lakes, straits, and now one of the states.

[1] Also, so many fucking morons, for decades, want to see those roles of CEO and POTUS combined, whether it was in W or tiny-d donnie, or in some wet dream of Peter Thiel and Curtis Yarvin's....

  • Donmentia.

  • I grew up in an area where that was absolutely the case. A whole lot of people on things like food stamps and so on.

I don't have exact numbers, but I'd say at least one in four males (and not a few females) went into some branch of the military. They are promised a lot and most of it is not delivered.

My parents were pacifists and extremely suspicious of the industrial military complex, and did everything possible to keep the recruiters at bay, while they scrimped and saved and got loans for my siblings and I to get a secondary education or vocational training. They were not rich, but given they were both gainfully employed and very frugal, we were in a more stable home than most in my area.

Many kids did not even graduate, there was a fair bit of teen pregnancy, too. I have the same suspicion of the military my parents had, but I also understand that many of my school mates did not have a lot of options.

  • Godwin's Law was cancelled in tiny-d donnie's first term.
