  • We're more than a week past Day 1 and he's still being a dictator, guys I think he might have been lying./S

  • So, if it is illegal, what's going to be done about it?The republicans won't turn on him, the Democrats don't have the numbers to impeach, and the SCOTUS rule against him.

  • The wording of the bill specifically bans Obama.According to the bill you can have more than two terms as long as your first two terms weren't consecutive. So, you can be president forever as long as there's a gap between your first and second terms, Obama served his first and second terms consecutively so he's disqualified from having any more terms. Same with Bush and Clinton.

  • 20:00-21:00 and up at 03:30, at least I'm off work at 13:30 and home by 14:00 though

  • I refill and reuse mine, I got an adapter I can use a grill tank to fill them up with and take them camping for my lantern and camp grill

  • Good, Disney shouldn't be allowed anywhere near anything Pratchett wrote.

They probably couldn't fuck up the Long Earth though, the first half of the series was pretty cool, and I love the concept, but the last 2-3 books were kind of a slog. But I think Stephen Baxter had more influence on those as he co-wrote the series with Pratchett, and they came out when Pratchett was at the end of his life and really struggling with his Alzheimer's

  • KSP 2.It was mismanaged, underfunded, and understaffed.

I'd scrap the mess they have now, hire an appropriate number of people to work on the game, and give them as much time as they need to get it right.

  • Between encouraging the consumption of raw milk, the anti-vaccine policies, defunding of FEMA, leaving the WHO, and censorship of public health information he's going to wipe out a significant portion of the population.

  • Unfortunately those are only for the states that filed suit against it.

  • Ok, by your argument, how is this better than what Biden was allowing/enabling?

I'll give one example as to why it's worse, he's literally rolling back the restrictions that Biden put in place.

  • Losing a week of profit, two max, isn't going to bankrupt a company, especially if they're not paying out anything for labor during that time. If it does, maybe they should cut back on the avocado toast. The place I work for had to shut down for 11 days after an ice storm a few years ago and they paid us our full wages the entire time, didn't go under.

  • No real issues with speed, it seems fine.I do have a bit of downtime but nothing unreasonable, maybe 2-3 times a week I won't be able to access it at all for maybe 10 min max but it's not often enough to be a real problem and it could be something on my end.

Being unable to post from behind a VPN is annoying though, I don't necessarily want my employer to know what I'm doing with my phone on the company Wi-Fi in my downtime.

  • Who's going to run out of food first? The people with more money than God?Or the people living paycheck to paycheck?

They would just wait it out until we had no choice but to go back to work, and we'd have to agree to far worse terms than we have now.

We'd be better off just dragging the rich out of their homes to preheated barbecue grills.

  • Musk's wealth is entirely tied to his assets and the valuation of his companies. It would be a shame if Trump were to nationalize SpaceX, Tesla, and Twitter via executive order.

  • Trump won with 31% of eligible voters and 49.8% of actual votes cast, 35% of eligible voters stayed home.If even 2% of those that stayed home would have voted we would be living in a very different world right now.1 in 3 people sat on their hands and let this happen.

  • Trump is ruling by executive order and no one is stopping him from doing any of it, constitutional or not. He'll just issue an executive order to lower the threshold and at best that order gets challenged and goes to the SCOTUS, and we all know what will happen there.

  • Email the tip line about it.
