  • Ehh. It means a lot, but also not everything, or even the most. And, there's good evidence people segregate themselves by it naturally.

  • And you find the one person who's 100%, but actually they're a dick. It seems like they'd be a dick.

Like, I'd be unusually high (and it's gone poorly), but I still purposely don't say certain things.

  • Oh shit, I didn't think of romantic compatibility.

  • Ehh. Serial killers tend to only get so far.

  • Yeah, and what are you going to do with it, tell the police "it's magic, trust me bro"?

  • More than 1 can also happen.

  • Does it have to be a number, or can it be a named category, like current goal?

That would basically be a cheat code in all social relationships.

  • Linux is free and doesn't care if you bootleg porn. Microsoft might, and definitely notes it.

  • See, now that sounds like the full story.

  • Only if you junk the old one in the same place. /s

  • Extradimesional is literally just a more sciency-sounding way of saying "the spirit world", with all the exact same tropes involved.

    So, extradimensional beings don't exist.

  • Grossest episode of Scooby-Doo yet.

  • And do we see Platonic ghosts themselves, or just their shadow?

  • Depends what reference frame they died in. If it's inertial, they'll be in an orbit, and will spend most of their time falling through the Earth's deep interior. Occasionally, they'll surface.

    Moral: Don't be a physicist.

  • Does this mean if you die on a moving vehicle, your haunting spot keeps on moving in whatever direction?

  • If you like the results, you were convinced, if you don’t, then you were manipulated.

Yeah, it does get used that way sometimes. Which is, ironically, kind of manipulative.

  • Arguably, violence and extortion are also situational. States exist on a foundation of use of force, and most people are fine with that.

  • Would "give me your wallet, or I shoot you" really be manipulative? It seems more just openly aggressive.

  • If you're not using deception, or trying to elicit strong feelings, you're definitely in the clear. I'm not sure if I've ever heard a dry, completely logical and factual argument called a manipulation, and if I have, that was itself a deceptive manipulation.

After that, it's a normative term, so there's a grey zone. Sometimes, deception is actually socially expected. At the other end of the spectrum, "nobody else will love you" or gaslighting someone to think they're crazy are definitely manipulative. In between you might have things where opinions vary.
