The first vet said how to treat this common gangivitis with meds, the other vet said that we need to remove the teeth now, otherwise we’ll need meds the cat‘s whole life and even then we might end up having to remove the teeth when they’re older because the body’s reaction is too aggressive.

    This article is from 2010 - a lot more research has been done since then and I think it’s amazing. But it still persists: if untreated, the cat suffers hard.

    I once left a pound of frozen ground beef from the farmers market in water but the packaging was damaged, so it was watery. I patted it dry with paper towels. Months later I bought ground beef from a store and it felt like the watered patter dry beef. I even dried it using 2 paper towels afterwards…
