  • Yeah, that sucks. What a pain. I'm pretty lucky, almost all my games are on Steam and run great. And for my old stuff, I still have an XP machine. I don't have any special software I need to run at home, either. I've got NX on my work laptop, and Windows is the company's problem there. Good luck with 11, I hope it won't be too much of a pain to debloat for you.

  • Yeah, agreed. I had to be pulled into 10 kicking and screaming. 7 was great. I got used to 10, but never loved it. And now I guess I'm done with Windows, which is kinda sad. I've been using it since Win95.

  • 11.1. Like 8.1.

  • He just needs to embrace them. I'm a straight dude, I love gay anthems. I made $20 one time by singing I Will Survive for karaoke at a crowded bowling alley, in front of my wife's entire company. Whatever, can't embarrass me. I love that song. Didn't even need the karaoke screen.

Joke's on them, I would have sang it for free. Any or all that I know. Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper (I just saw her a couple months ago), The Weather Girls (I have an It's Raining Men 12" single) and I will belt them all out with my own terrible choreography.

  • And do they just call them muffins?

  • Mine is 2 pages, and I think everyone I've hired has been 2 pages. Maybe it's kinda dependent on the field you're in? Idk, i can't imagine cramming all my proficiencies, jobs, and responsibilities on one page.

  • Right. When I was interviewing people, I honestly couldn't care less about the CV. I'm an engineer, words are hard. I want a list of your skills, your software proficiencies, and a run-down of your previous jobs along with your responsibilities. When you get here, I'm going to care about finding out how much you know about designing and cad. Then we'll take a tour of the shop to see if the machinery we build is in your comfort zone. We'll have some small talk to get a feel for if you'd fit in with the group, and off you'll go. All said and done, it should be under 45 minutes.

  • It worked fine for me, I've landed three jobs that way. That was a while ago though, the last time was in 2017. My last two jobs I took because I had some connections call out of the blue. I've been very fortunate in that regard. I can't imagine that would happen again, most of my connections are getting close to retirement age at this point.

  • The Joe in Detroit still had those. I made sure to use it one last time during the last Red Wings game I went to there. Fun fact, they sold them before demolishing the Joe. I see one went for $55. Man, I could have had a piece of history in my basement.

  • I need both hands to control my alpha male fire hose. The girth of my manly urethra is enough to fit an average penis. I can empty my bladder in 3 seconds, but it is an intense 3 seconds. You'll be damned sure I'm staring you straight in the eye from across our opposed urinals as I do. And I expect a small kiss, out of respect, before I leave.

  • They are so close. It's actually better to put your arm around the guy next to you to make sure you're good and centered to the urinal.

  • Battlezone 2: Combat Commander. When I started playing that, my brother and I had to face each other and use our laptops' infrared ports.

  • A fellow Steelcase fan. Awesome. What's yours?

  • I'd just get a chair that's comfortable without any add-ons. I have a Steelcase Leap V2 at home, and a Steelcase Amia at work. I can and have sat in these for 16hrs plus in a day. Tempurpedic also has nice, thick butt cushions in their chairs at a fraction of the price.

  • That would require making a reddit account. Ew.

  • WHY YOU LYIN' ON YO DICK, LYIN ON YO DICK!!

Big Klit is safe to listen to. You're probably never going to hear Facefuk on a Garnier commercial.

  • I can't listen to You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive anymore. Although, that's not related to an ad...

  • Is this specifically about that one guy from last week a bunch of people blocked retouch straight away after his "I'm here from reddit" post?

  • At least there is dinner and dancing.
