  • My A1 Mini damaged 2 plates the stock textured and high temp smooth, when I first got it by freezing and locking up. A firmware up date has appeared to have fixed the issue. It's been a year since it last happened, but I still don't fully trust it anymore. Bambu makes decent hardware, poor software, and has dubious business practices.

    On the other hand, my 7 year old Prusa Mk3s has never had an issue that wasn't directly traceable to me. Even after converting it to run Klipper, it's still every bit as solid and a tank that might not be quite as fast the Mini, (though Klipper and the input shaping has pushed the print speeds to over 100mm/sec), it's the printer I trust to still be using 10 years from now.

  • Another brand you could compare the Ender3 to is Soval. The same money in the US, and runs Klipper out of the box.

  • They are public property and designed and built by the municipalities in many places. The cities and towns just prefer to offload the cleaning part to who every lives in front of a section of sidewalk.

  • Weeeeelllllll technically, that would make them ephebophiles. (Kelly is grabbing on to what ever she can to deflect). Medically, people sexually attracted to early to later teens. As far as what we know right now, there are no pedophiles, (pre-pubescent attraction) on the list. Though there might be a possibility. We just don't know yet.

    In any case, rape most foul it most certainly was. And all of them need to be prosecuted and jailed for it. While being sued for every penny they have in civil court.

  • Old or rare does not make something valuable or collectable. I'm old and a one of a kind, but that doesn't make me valuable. I ain't worth much at all anymore.

    What makes something collectable and other things not? Age doesn't much factor into it all the time, sometimes it does. See: Baseball cards, comic books, Beanie Babies or Barbie Dolls, and Lego kits. And the collectable needs to rare enough to not be seen every day, but have just enough of them around that collectors can have a reasonable hope of getting them.

    So who knows, people collect the dumbest shit. From pretty rocks to 1930s kitchen gadgets and Barbies. Maybe someday people will be collecting to soda lids and straws.

  • SketchUp and 3D printing do not mix well for some reason. TinkerCAD would be a far better choice to dip your toes in designing items for 3D printing.
