  • Genuine question - why is that deemed a good answer? I'd expect an actual solution for a child to be more apropriate than humiliating an adult later in life. Like the suggestions telling to start singing it yourself, wrongly, seem much more effective and appropriate to me.

  • Indeed, much of enshittification can be blamed on the corporations, but this one is definitely the consumer's fault.

    Just last year, I went to a new, original movie called Juror #2. It looked great in the trailer, and I was not disappointed! At least, not by the movie. I was disappointed by the fact that there were only like 20/30 people in the room to watch it. And this was only a week after it came out! Meanwhile, Gladiator II had a fully booked and bigger room.

  • It works just fine for me on my RTX 3060 Ti. No significant performance decrease or stuttering at all (except in Cities Skylines II but that's not Wayland's fault)

I'd have loved to see him squirm his way out of that one after he stated that Zelensky needs to be open for concessions in exchange for peace.

  • That really depends on the political views. If someone's belief is that certain groups do not deserve to exist/live, or at least doesn't care enough about those views of the party they voted for, that is absolutely reason enough to cut them out of your life.

  • I believe the impact was mostly to do with the visuals. And, honestly, that is very fair. While it is inctedibly dull and cringe story-wise, the visuals are phenominal, especially since the movie is now already 15 years old.

    I feel the same way about Jurassic Park in that sense, though it is much less cringe than Avatar (but still pretty basic story-wise).

    While I love shitting on CEOs and business people as much as the next left-oriented person, this trend in the movie industry is very much, at least partially, at fault due to many of the consumers.
