  • Yeah that's pretty much his stance. AI tools like GPT or Gemini gave a bunch of non-developers the power to review things they don't understand, with high confidence it's the truth. His talk about this at FOSDEM was really insightful.

  • Well, if the model detected an issue, and a human tested it to make sure it was real and then fixed it, I think that's an acceptable use of AI tools.

  • The real DEI

    Docker is hard work

  • Podman and quadlets are the way to go for monoserver services

  • With a big push from Meta

  • His day one/one day dictator remark as well

  • It's not like he said it verbatim, on record, multiple times right ?

  • Clipping claws is just like when you clip your nails, declawing would be the equivalent of cutting your first knuckles.

  • Not sure if it's underrated or just not well known, but "The unbearable weight of massive talent" was so insanely good!

  • Pretty much, "Never again" means "never again to anyone, ever"

  • "Nah, nothing is going to happen to ME" or something

  • Nah I'm talking about something truly heinous, like what happened on the Island or to Epstein. Something he would boast about unfiltered and how he got away with it.

  • Can't wait for his inevitable slip live on TV. He's gonna do or say something so dramatically heinous or stupid that even his most fervent supporters won't be able to ignore it.

It's a matter of weeks now, his frontal lobe is almost completely gone.

  • I absolutely love the fact that we'll most likely never get rid of stuff like that in AI generated content. There will always be things that are wrong/wonky with it.

The problem is when they start making it acceptable to the masses

  • Especially when a good senior dev with a good grasp of AI can do wonders.

  • Well Google contributes a lot to open source, but I get your point.

  • Another thing we couldn't have possibly seen coming!

  • That fronto-temporal lobe is just fucking gone, it's a matter of weeks before he admits stuff live on TV

  • Fair, markdown, git and pandoc could work but, it might be too big of a jump for someone used to Word
