  • Ubuntu, Ubuntu is fine, it gets hate but tbh it's fine. It's well supported, issues getting fixed and there's plenty of info on how to fix stuff when you inevitably find something that doesn't work.

  • Ah yeah man, I feel ya. One thing I don't really get is why there's a subset of Christianity that wants to be so combative - like all that needs to be said is "well, yes, that's pretty clever - of course god would do it that way" or "in this we better understand our maker" instead of trying to belittle what is a clearly useful and widely applied modelling tool.

  • £10 says you have a set of flush cutters with blue rubberised handles.

  • I have a drawer specifically for things that tighten or loosen fasteners.

  • Did we? Some maybe, I do recall the fascists got the shit kicked out of them on Cable Street. More of that please.

  • There's nothing fundamentally christian about the text in the picture above, it's just nonsense propaganda. The whole science vs religion thing is frankly bollocks too - science shouldn't be arguing about religion it's fundamentally incompatible. OP can believe in a god, believe in an afterlife - science has nothing to say on the subject, it's not testable, it's not falsifiable it's got absolutely nothing to do with science.

  • Wonder how it handles nerf blasters?

  • I did! You too 😊

  • Have we confirmed they're not Nazis?

  • Sometimes people are just nice.

  • Awe but they're so cute!

  • Allied with - "I just say it like it is", nope motherfucker, you say it like you see it, consider you might be wrong.

  • You're an asshole and a bully.

  • Well it's fucked now, I thought we all agreed not to say it and see if it made any difference

  • Like "I need to get home to see my dying child" and they think "oh yes, what a perfect opportunity to demonstrate our ability to extract as much money as possible"

  • I wonder about these fuckers, like what is wrong with them. I totally understand theorising about this crap, it wouldn't be the first time I'd been down a line of thought purely thinking about "how could I maximise this" or "how could I solve this problem" but at some point I take a step back and "wait no, this is a horrendous idea" occurs to me. And then there's this twat who thinks "oh yeah, we should extract as much money from paying customers as possible and then we'll do it in other industries" and says it like they think everyone is going to think it's a good idea.

  • It would, we'd also have more projects like freecad that are objectively great all things considered, but that gets absolutely slaughtered because they're not up to the standard of a professional program even though they've been in development for 15 years. Also why do you expect people to work for free?

  • Oh I'm not against it at all 😂 guy at work has been extolling the benefits for weeks now.

  • Some of the bambulab owners are a bit cultish for sure.
