The rest understand that opposing the wave that is almost certainly going to control the party is a bad idea. They may not like the DemSocs, just like the Republicans didn't like MAGA, but they recognize they don't have a choice, because the VOTERS are overwhelmingly for it, so they better start wrapping their heads around a Socialist future, and stop squawking MAGA talking points.
Only 4 of them haven't got that message, and that's in the current House. After the Midterm Bloodbath, and a flood of new DemSocs arrive, these AIPAC Traitors are going to find themselves as unpopular as MAGAs.

I've never wanted to sing, I can't remember lyrics anyway, I just wanted to play the guitar. I was especially interested in learning electric lead guitar, and acoustic fingerpicking. I've really settled into the finger picking thing because I can play full songs, beginning to end, all by myself, while the electric guitar is more random riffs, solos, and cool guitar parts, but it really requires other players for the full effect.

You don't know what an Independent is. You think you do, but you only know what your propaganda tells you, and that's true of both sides. I'm always amused when shallow political thinkers try to tell me what I must believe as an Unaffiliated Independent. I am under no obligation to confirm to someone else's ignorant concepts of political independence.
Independents have different motivations, but I am motivated by issues, not parties. I am right on some issues, left on some issues, far left on some issues, and have nuanced positions on many issues that aren't left, right, or middle.
I care about the actual issues, and have no interest in joining a club.
When he stole the election in 2024, he was fighting the justice system with two major cases - The Jan 6 Insurrection, and the Stolen Documents Case. Those cases didn't go away, they were just suspended. When he's out, if Dems are in power, they could revive those cases, and I will be screaming for them to be re-opened on Inauguration Day.
And there are a LOT of others who will go to prison, and there may even be some executions for those whose irresponsible behavior led to the deaths of thousands, such as Musk, Hegseth, RFK, Jr., and Trump, of course.

Not all states collect political affiliations, but in any case, you don't have to register a party. I have been an Unaffiliated Independent since I first registered to vote in 1977. I can't vote in primaries, but neither party can count on my vote, and they have to earn it every election.
Canada should announce that they've changed the names of all the Great Lakes to Canadian names, like Lake Toronto, and Lake Ottawa. Make sure there's a Lake Saskatchewan, because there is no way Trump can read or pronounce it, so that will really piss him off.
