    What was "the incident" in your school?

  • My friend used to be cool with this one girl, but he apparently sent something stupid which pissed her off and made her despise him. She decides that it would be funny to lie about being raped by him. Half the grade believes her and my friend’s social life is absolutely shattered.

    It’s been a few years since it has happened but people still mention it in jokes and shit, which he thinks are funny, so at least something good came out of it. As for the girl she hasn’t really received any repercussions for her actions.

  • A lot, it predicted the flat screen tv, parasocial relationships with celebrities and so much more. And of course there was the banning of books but I’m not sure if that’s a new thing or not. I highly suggest reading it and seeing all of the things it predicts, it’s not too long of a read.

  • Thing is, that’s not how it works on PlayStation. On PS5 you can download and play games without ever connecting to wifi. The whole glorified installer is mostly an Xbox thing ever since the XB1. I’d know since I own both and usually get discs to play my games.

  • It’s way harder to find posts on mastodon compared to bluesky as you have to follow people to start getting a feed, whilst in bluesky they have a discovery feed. This makes it a way more streamlined experience for users, making bluesky and threads far more attractive to users than mastodon
