Oh yeah, ofc, there is an Italian community on redsit that is all about pretending to be boomers or in general very old people trying to use reddit, some times you see posts of real boomers XD
I agree with that, i don't have any problem either;
I even use slurs like batty boy or lady boy in ironic/dark contexts while talking of myself simply because it make me laugh
(I am a femboy and genderfluid, that's why i use 'em),
usually with other trans or bisexual friends, but if there is someone that don't like it I avoid to do it, i also avoid if there is a transphobic/racist/etc etc person in the conversation because they would use it seriously and probably think it's normal, which is NOT
Though, if they use it seriously then i am going to do dark humo about them by saying stuff like "I hope that you hangout more often with us...by your feets" or "you should wear another scarf today", in there i didn't used slurs but it's kinda dark ( i guess? My meter of how much something is dark is kinda broken tbh)
I think we had very different experiences, i tried Ollama with Claude Code (just to use their free models, i don't want to pay a cent) and it helped me a lot with debugging and writing the boring stuff (or sometimes even refactor old code that i was too afraid to touch by how much it was done poorly), and it also helps with reading the logs of something ex: i had a problem with a minecraft mod that crashed the whole game, i couldn't find a shit in the logs so i just asked to the clanker to search for me and while i took a piss he found the problem, it would've taken me a lot otherwise
Probably programming, i used Claude Code recently and it's wonderful because i can use it for debugging stuff that i can't undersfand or i can make him do boring ass stuff that i could do myself but just eat my time uselessly
(So i can go make a mug of tea or a cup of coffe! Not work XD)
But i want to underline that it will NEVER replace a programmer, to stupid to do it rn, but it can really help our work and that we need to push for self-hostable AIs, right now there are many models but they either require too much resources or are stupid...i hope that we improve their efficency more...
I agree that they are unethical rn because it's all stolen stuff, i hope to be able to make my own AI in future that is trained in a more ethical way(just as hobby open source project tho)
Not everyone want one tho, i saw people saying that they use 200€ motorola phones, tbh i am using a 230€ tablet and it's fine for normal tasks and drawing
This happened to a project i know, suddently someone started sending a lot of PRs, and there was like 8k lines of code in one but it was clearly AI, code that didn't compiled, bullshit code, shitty PRs descriptions that screamed AI and more :/
I did not tried it yet (i still need to buy the hardware for my home server which is a pain in the ass with all these price spikes of...well everthing) but it seems so from the demo site + there is also sync with Anilist/MAL as the site says
