  • I mean it is awkward that he seems to be apologizing for a very serious allegation but his apology sounds not too different from "sorry I was 15 minutes lates to class. welp lets continue". I agree this should have been resolved on the university level but this guy likely brings shit tons of money to the department through his connections and we have all seen with Trump adminstration how board of directors behave when threatened with funding cuts.
