  • Absolutely not.

    Mutually exclusive options

Another classic. Pick one output format: JSON, YAML, or XML. But definitely not two.

    Emphasis mine.

It takes the input and fails if there is more than one valid one, which decidedly isn't what's an "or" in comp sci.

  • The result type in rust does not return a true/false but a type. More importantly though, it doesn't return err if both values are set but simply returns the first value:

So... It's not only not mapping your input to truth values, it also behaves more like I'd expect an "or" to behave, which is not "xor" or, if there's more than two inputs, "exactly one", but succeeding if any input is set.

  • I really wish I had bought the large Voyager and Delta Flyer when I still could

Same. Glad I got the enterprise d, defiant and some smaller ships though. But man, those models were awesome. Especially later waves. The Stargazer e. g. was a terrific set and I don't see Lego delivering that kind of quality, especially at that price.

  • The or() combinator means exactly one succeeds.

Using "or" to define a function that does "xor"... Did that guy never hear about formal logic? That's, like, first or second semester stuff...

    Here's the thing: I don't have a CS degree.

But you see, they're on me, they are not my family my employee

  • So slower by 0.7 sec? Unless only you are allowed to cherry pick from the data.

The Subaru is specifically the rare higher performance engine, so comparing them to the higher performance versions of comparable EVs would be the only fair thing to do.

the driving dynamics of EVs and ICEs is basically the same when actually in use.

Absolutely not, but hey, whatever you want to believe that makes you happy.

  • It's worth it; it feels like driving an EV with how quickly it picks up speed

    Doubt.

Just checked it and if I got the right model, 0-100 is between 7.2 and 8 seconds, depending on the model year. Mid range EV SUVs such as the Enyaq are between 5.5 and 8.7 seconds, so way below the outback if you don't pick the low end version. Performance-centric EVs are below 4 seconds. And they all have a more or less constant torque which just isn't possible for ICEs.

If you like your car that's fine. But combustion engines aren't even close to how EVs drive.

  • The radiation chosen specially to kill Kuzco

  • That's not the point. Combustion engines with too much mileage have no resale value either, but that's not the point, too. Electric cars usually give you easy ways to check for battery health, if anything it's much easier to assess the state of a car for electric ones. This is about nobody wanting to be associated with musk.

  • Approximately 90% of the land area of Nauru is covered with phosphate deposits, with the majority strip-mined and non-arable. This has led to Nauruan reliance on processed food, high in both sugar and fat, imported from large Oceanian countries such as Australia and New Zealand.[4][2]

    Ninety percent??? Ninety!?!?

  • I'll tape this to my office door.

  • No need to be insulting. What's a guinea?

  • I love how I went back to the first panel and the wizard was already there, of course.

  • (I don't identify as much with my body as some other people apparently do. It's the only flesh I have ever been incarnated in so it has a lot of sentimental value but it fundamentally isn't me. It's a thing that I have.)

Yeah, but what happens to you if that thing breaks? ☹️
