Usually a lurker.Maybe I should've just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment...

If you want to talk to me elsewhere, you know how to reach me.

  • Fingerprinting

Not important to me. But understandable

    tab groups

I actively disable that on everything I use it with (even in the about:config flag)

  • Because crypto bro behaviour and I can install ublock in my firefox browser in both android and desktop.

    What makes/does Brave better?

  • I get paid vacation.Why should I go without?

    • A german citizen.
  • I'd assume Wikipedia implemented a whitelist rule for trusted edits and new accounts edits are hold in limbo until they are confirmes entries, no?

If Wikipedia actually allows for live edits to the page without any further checks, it seems very naive or very stupid to me.

  • I thought wikipedia mods are overly zealous with checking submissions by new users.Seemingly not so. Kinda worrisome

  • Sounds like some refugees coming from the african/middle east.I have one colleague with an "official" and an actual birthdate.I believe some also don't have the given/sur name system.

  • I have clipboard history enabled but holy is that an actual security nightmare.

IMO not a good requirement to have.

And the client cert abandonment problem is an entirely other issue.

  • Windows recently introduced support for Passkeys. But it can only be used with Bitwarden, if you have Windows Hello enabled ¯(ツ)And I don't want to use anything else than a regular password.

  • To me they seemA More user friendlyB Abstract away the burden of keeping the mTLS synchronized across devicesC Can be used in hardware and software.

Feel free to correct me if my assumptions are wrong.

  • That is the real question!

  • On that we can agree.

  • That's reasonable. My dad doesnt do that and preceeds every message chain with a greeting. He doesnt do it in a short term context but if a message is longer than (feels like 3 weeks), there will be a greeting.

Not infuriating but it does kinda grind my gears ;)

  • Can't disagree more.

For linux users: Anything in the system (be it devices, interfaces, com-ports) is a file. So why may I only use the desktop for shortcuts? For windows users: Why shouldn't I be able to place a file in there? It's just a pretty folder.

  • Also hate it, also on the spectrum. For me:Either the taskbar is bottom or bottom.Any side bar is (if possible) disabled. If theres unecessary white space: Fuck that. Delete that right now (looking at you firefox)
