Usually a lurker.Maybe I should've just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment...

If you want to talk to me elsewhere, you know how to reach me.

  • osanna@lemmy.vg:

there's also the fact that hackers probably don't know I'm hosting it. Where as bitwarden hosted makes for a very very juicy target

Please point me to where keepass is mentioned

Besides that:Yes, keepass is only an encrypted database-container but that comes with it's own downsides.Syncthing can manage the syncing with stun-servers circumventing the port forwarding issue but it's also a burden to manage it.

Btw a geuine question:How does keepass manage simultanious access by two devices? Is the database write-locked during an editing action? And how does it combat silent corruption?

  • Personally I couldnt care less.I wanna see SMS die (moatly due to 2FA codes being still used with it) and also just get my text across by whatever means.

  • Super special filter. With extra uptime

  • OpenMediaVaukt also uploads there

  • Both bad.Want the original one before the whole 4-color redesign back

  • Is that so?

  • Maybe in your bubble.

  • 99.9999%With the identical uptime (free of charge)

  • Dudette /j

  • Quite happy not having to screw it out and in.DP is already quite hard to press some of the times in narrow areas.

  • False sense of security. The moment to fuck up certificate issuing and don't use a wildcard certificate, the subdomain is public and will be probed to hell and back. And due to regex, probably by bots specialized to probe password vaults.Wish you best of luck and security. But I'll stay here :)

  • Not interested in selfhosting and risk a data breach. It's imple: Who is better equipped to combat a hack? You or Bitwarden?

  • Quite easy to fork the client.

Getting it to install through the various stores? Probably not.

  • I get an email very close to renewal. Not a great move in terms of transparancy. :/

  • I like Knots 3D

  • as AMD's starting to turn on consumers even more than Intel,

Prices aside, if they keep releasing on the same socket for some time I'll consider them a primary option (under the assumption that my motherboard will support it and not dead by then).Intel mentioned to plan something along those lines but until they are showing proof, I'll keep them on 2nd place.

  • but does a stronger USD help against a weaker CAD?

Yes. Because a roll of oeros cost 2 USD in USA and maybe 1.50USD converted from CAD.

  • Nobody (for now),/as it can be easil, bypassed

  • My powershell scripts are poison enough lol

  • Same here. Run it on my VPS to test my outside reachability and inside to check against my VPS.
