  • You're almost correct. Almost 90% of US military veterans never saw front line combat. The sheer amount of support roles in the military is completely overlooked by fucking everyone. Including us veterans.

He went to another country. The fact that others are saying he was working as a VA nurse in his home town indicates that he was likely a corpsman, aka a military nurse that wasn't killing anyone, he was working in the modern day version of a M.A.S.H. unit, like Major Margaret Houlihan.

  • I don't remember if it was a telecaster or a stratocaster, but I do remember that it had a heart of chrome and a voice like a horny angel!

  • Vocal Cords, expert

Woodwinds: (Flute, Bass Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Saxophone, Bari-Sax, Pan Pipes) Journeyman to Expert

Strings: (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass) Journeyman

Brass: (Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba, Sousaphone, Cornet, Bugle) Apprentice to Journeyman

    Percussion: Apprentice

Piano: Beginner, though I took lessons when I was 3-6, and I can sit and make it sound good, just can't play sheet music with one.

Guitar: Bass and Rhythm guitar: Apprentice. Can't do lead, chords mess with my fingers.

I've been playing instruments and singing my whole life.

Oh, technically I can play a recorder, but I hate that thing.

I can also "play" a didgeridoo, as in get consistent sound out of the thing. If there is more of a mastery than that, I don't know.

  • Submarines as well. For some reason the regs make all the hatchways 5'10" or 5'11". I had to duck to get through them.

Also Japan. Had to duck shop signs.

  • Waiting for God doesn't seem to get the love it should. That was a brilliantly written show

  • Let them work in food services, lol.

Fuck that. We do actual work. They'll just slow us down.

  • Look for "commercial display panels." They're 3-4 times the price of a smart TV, but they are just basic TVs. If you find a bank, hospital, clinic, or any other privacy focused business that's going out of business you can generally pick those used displays up pretty cheap.

  • We didn't vote them out of power. Drumpf and Elon both admitted just before the election that they were rigging the election. Tons of irregularities. The voting machines were owned by Dick Cheney, and are now owned by another Repuglicunt fascist.

  • You definitely don't want to go barefoot in my house. The dogs and humans carry in sand. It really does get everywhere.

  • My windmill is functioning. I put the helve hammer, quern and pulverizer into a room whose floor is 2 blocks thick, starting at a vertical level of 200. I've gone through 5 redwood trees, and am making refractory bricks to make steel. Also need to make a ton of plaster for the a lot of the windmill. That's on my single player world. My brother and I have a multiplayer world where we are currently prospecting for iron.

Oh I also have bees. So many bees on both worlds.

  • I'm having the same thing with Vintage Story, but that's mostly because steel takes so long to make. My windmill is functioning now and counts as a room, which is good cause it's tall enough that the temperature drops by 15° C from the ground to my work area.

  • They do, they just call them display panels.

  • Get commercial hardware. It's more expensive new, but dirt cheap used, and they don't include any of the spy equipment.

  • No. I haven't had a TV since around 2000. I use monitors, and always have an extra laying around if needed.

  • Thanks! 🙏

  • There's a third option, but it may still lead to option 1 eventually. We invent starlifting, and keep our sun "young," while also having the added benefit of strapping a solar thrusters to her so we can steer the solar system.

  • Could we get an archive link? That article is pay walled.
