  • Because the pool leaks. There wasn't a good way to fix that, so rather than use municipal drinking water to fill the pool and have it leak into the swamp, they're using the tidal water to fill the pool. It's a significant cost saving measure, so of course this administration hates it.

  • The ozone tech was installed under Obama. They clearly just turned it back on.

  • Deserts ≠ desserts

  • The first time we almost switched to metric, back in the 1700s or early 1800s, pirates attacked the ship that was bringing us our Kg weight and our Meter Stick, and they stole them.

    I'm not even joking.

  • They have more than one, the PA one is furthest along in the process of the courts.

  • Yeah

  • The lawsuits are ongoing, but yes there's hard data to prove that there was a clear Russian Tail that favored the GOP in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

  • Same as a Technological Singularity, except with money. We basically produce an infinite money glitch.

  • I'm convinced it's intentional because the ultra rich have figured out that we have gotten so close to an Economic Singularity that they are burning money in any way possible so that they don't lose the power they have currently, and would lose the moment that an Economic Singularity actually takes place.

They aren't just burning the world to cause climate change to kill the poors, they are, in fact, burning the planet to desperately pull up a ladder, that isn't a ladder, and is a floor, to prevent it from materializing. They're trying to kill the rest of us, before we all have the exact same buying power they have, or at least close enough that the difference is academic.

  • Technically it was my car that got sprayed, but I specifically drove around a skunk to not hit the thing, and it showed it's appreciation by spraying my car.

  • We are getting a small win. Trump has done more than anyone else to force the world onto green energy and away from fossile fuels. Apparently he's even given up on shutting down the approved solar and wind projects because everyone else is ignoring his desperate propping up of coal and oil.

  • Stop using ice dildos and your holes won't be cold.

  • Oh yeah. Those licences can run up to $10,000 per season depending on the location. You'll make that back easily though. The food licences only cost a couple grand a year. You'll make it back in a good location in one weekend though. It cost us $0.30/$0..35 for materials and labor to make either a regular or a large, ($3.50/$5) and because we sliced the lemon in front of you, and had simple syrup premade, we literally couldn't make them fast enough most afternoons.

  • You might be joking, but seriously. Fresh made lemonade has ridiculous profit margins, and people can't get enough of the stuff when it's hot. When I ran a bratwurst/hotdog and lemonade stand, we routinely made triple in the lemonade sales that we did on the sales of the brats/dogs and sides that we had.

  • Below the 12% it says Hydrogen Peroxide.

I have a jug of 34% H2O2 in my shed for my weed plants. It's nasty stuff.

12% at least isn't gonna give you much of a chemical burn, mostly just bleach whatever it touches that isn't a solution.

  • You can't buy 12% H2O2 at CVS. I don't know why they didn't go straight to the 35% stuff though.
