  • There really are very few of them if your posts are staying in the negative like that. You'd think you protest voters would be able to at least help eachother out, but I guess that's why third parties will never have a chance under the EC.

  • Okay, as long as we're clear that I don't care about your thoughts or opinions we're good here! I'll see you on your next inflammatory propaganda post, but I'll probably wait for you to say your go-to "I don't write the [propaganda], I just post the [propaganda], take it up with the [publisher/mods] if you don't like it" lines there first.

  • Yep, it sure makes me happy when I see you following your script because it's so transparent, I genuinely hope you keep it up because of that. If you were only just slightly better at what you do, you'd probably find some success. But since you refuse to even change your go-to excuses for posting propaganda, it's fairly easy to see right through you.

  • Oh, right, like 4 other third party protest voters, too. Can't forget them! Too bad there's so few of them here, otherwise you might not always swim in downvotes.

  • Oh, sorry, I think you're confused again; I'm here to help show the few people who do see your posts that you've got a clear agenda and pretty much only post propaganda and otherwise spam the politics community. Luckily, the downvotes show that much of the active community here is already aware, but in case they don't understand why you're getting downvoted, I want to show them why. I don't care about anything else past letting that be known.

Oh, and I like keeping track of the rotation of like 10-15 talking points you have. Keeps things interesting and entertaining.

  • I don't believe my posts are either of those

I do, and Lemmy agrees, so I'm happy with that. Everyone can have an opinion, but like most of Lemmy, I don't respect yours because it's based in propaganda and right-wing talking points.

  • Ah, yep, there's more of that classic surface-level niceness that I remember from the other conservative Mormons while growing up in Utah. Too bad that you're bad at it.

I do not have a passion for political news, but I do have a passion for calling out bullshit. Does that still count?

  • You sure find propaganda and spamming interesting. You're prolific in posting it, that's for damn sure.

Luckily, they get downvoted so fast that they never cross the feeds of those browsing hot and top. As long as that's happening, I'm happy and content.

  • Ah, I'm glad you're sarcastically thankful as always! I was simply apologizing because you seemed to have been mistaken in thinking I care what you think (I don't).

  • Ah, right, I left that off of my script notes! It's one of your classics. I'll be sure to keep that one in mind moving forward.

I, for one, am happy to see people treating your posted content the way they do: like spam and propaganda. If you keep it up, you'll reach your next major milestone of 50,000 downvotes. Truly something to aspire to.

  • Sorry, did you miss the last part of my comment? Again, sorry if I misled you into thinking I care about your thoughts - I don't past telling other people that what you say is nonsense. You're either ignorant, misinformed, or purposefully malicious. Why would I ever care about your personal thoughts?

  • We know you believe that, you've already said you're voting third party. Paradoxically, your vote will be lost in the electoral college and only serve Trump in the end by spoiling a candidate that gives at least more of a shit than him.

  • Your vote won't count, and only serves Trump. Congrats on your new found MAGA support!

  • Now you're using this line for posts that aren't even yours? This is one tired line.

  • Who? The few thousand protest voters? They will never win in our electoral college, it's quite literally impossible unless a third party completely takes over one of the two major parties (which is not happening this election, so all these protest voters will just elect Trump by default). It's not pressure, it's common sense.

  • It doesn't need your posts, as evident by the massive amounts of downvotes your propaganda receives. No one is celebrating you.

  • If she cared about the climate, she'd drop out to prevent Trump from using her as a tool.

  • She's a spoiler, not a threat. A threat requires her to hold actual power, which she is not capable of doing without the GOP in her back pocket. She won't win, she can literally only take votes from the two primary candidates, like every other third party candidate (yes, including whichever flavor you claim to be supporting this afternoon). The Dems are worried about Kamala losing by 100 votes because idiots think that they're getting a one up by voting third party, when actually all they're doing is pissing away their vote and empowering a Trump victory.

Jill Stein is a GOP operative. That's all she is. She doesn't care about Gaza, the climate, or anything else, because if she did she would drop out to avoid a spoiler that would ruin all of those things due to a Trump win. She's a tool for Trump.

ETA: Let me be clear, I don't give a shit who you, Monk vote for, because you clearly are already a lost cause. My comments to you are always for everyone else who actually cares about not electing a fascist, and never you. Sorry if I confused you by thinking I care about your personal vote or thoughts.

  • You are completely missing their point. The plugin repo and updates are hardcoded to use WordPress's servers, that's the issue here. Yes, you can totally self host WordPress, you don't need something like cpanel (in fact, I don't see how it's relevant to this discussion, and I think the last time I used that archaic backend was in 2015), but if you want access to the plugin repo + automated plugin updates, you are unfortunately impacted by this BS.

Why be rude to people who are just trying to explain the issue to you?
