  • I'm not saying Iran doesn't have problems or that its population isn't suffering under the attacks, but... Does OP think Iran lacks engineers, bureaucrats, and economists? Iranian leadership is vastly more impressive than the goons we sent to negotiate with them.

Iran's position is also quite strong for the moment. Its population is not upset with the government but with the Epstein Coalition. Iran maintains a massive arsenal of drones and missiles, and shows no fear in escalating. And oh, that little Strait of Hormuz may soon be augmented by Houthis closing of Bab al-Mandeb

The Epstein Coalition position, by contrast, is weak and failing. All US bases in the region are basically destroyed. They gave no way to get men into Iran. They have lost expensive military hardware. Zionist Entity is paying the price for US aggression and its population will suffer from further escalation. The economic fallout for Epstein Coalition is going to be severe and I'm genuinely terrified of what's coming.

Given their strong position, why shouldn't Iran demand frozen assets be returned?

  • Actually it would give pause to the next wannabe dictator. Violence is sometimes the correct course of action

  • This gets to the heart of the issue. The article would have us wait for an election to magically wipe away everything wrong

  • They're not a party. They're a marketing company

  • The Democrats never miss an opportunity to show fealty to Israel

  • This is fantastic

  • So then it's not an "immigration crackdown"

  • Anything is better than what we have. I'm in Korea, which has a public-private mix. It works really well overall, and is vastly cheaper for the average person than USA healthcare. They have public insurance, which includes dental and vision. Even if you're uninsured, most things are cheap

  • Right now we are pay more than that already but privately, so it's actually a drag on the economy.

Government can spend basically any amount of money it wants. It would be an investment in citizens.

Neoliberals would never let that happen

  • Kegbreath didn't plan anything so they probably aren't even prepared for that scale of transport

  • Iranian missiles are also super- and hypersonic

  • That's a truly insane number

    Can we just have healthcare?

  • I wonder if she's making this up for theatrics. She should give an explicit detail

  • Speaking as an Eagle Scout-- WGAF?

  • Former Scout here. They have done it in Europe for generations. They actually hand out condoms at jamborees and even have alcohol tents for youth over 16 (Scouts in Europe go to age 21)

I don't know if that's a good idea altogether-- just saying America didn't invent this.

  • I agree

  • This is an all-time great comment

  • This is a nice writeup but I disagree with the assertion that it's a reaction to Nixon.

American leadership has NEVER been held accountable for anything. Even Jefferson Davis was never charged and died a free man.

Neither party wants to set a precedent of charging a president with crimes while in office.

  • I don't believe anything that lady or her husband say.
