So it's a 100kW generator and you would need around 60kW to float the weight of a hot air balloon basket with a couple of people. My math is probably way off though.
Edit: I was trying to get more information from other articles and got the S1000 (100kW) mixed up with the S1500 (1000kW)
They're trying to get it to100kW. That's like a pretty big generator but not a huge one. So this isn't a replacement for wind farms just yet. The picture is from a year ago. No mention of costs.
Would it be possible to use heat to get it to float, instead of helium? Heat it up with electricity.
I think "thoughts and prayers" are the bottom of the barrel. This is actively withholding money from Disney. And Disney LOVES money. If enough people stop giving Disney money, then the "line goes up" people will not get tens of millions of dollars and they'll have to take some action. This isn't a meaningless gesture.
Obviously it depends on how many people cancel their subscriptions. How's spotify doing nowadays?
From reading the study, it seems like the workers didn't even use it. Less than 2 queries per day? A third of participants used it once per week?
This is a study of resistance to change or of malicious compliance. Or maybe it's a study of how people react when you're obviously trying to take their jobs.
