  • I think it's more like Vulkan was a Metal knockoff. Metal released (for mobile) June 2014 and Vulkan research kicked off July 2014. Vulkan was only announced March 2015, and I would think it took more than three months of work for Apple to release Metal for macOS June 2015. And then Vulkan's specs and SDK were released in February 2016. Though I doubt Apple was pushing for Metal to become an open cross-platform standard either.

  • Where's all this hate against Wikipedia from? First off Wikipedia moved the article from "Allegations..." to "Gaza genocide back in May 2024, not just now. Secondly, moderators (assuming you mean administrators) do not have more say than others in content decisions. Thirdly, what you're describing is referred to within WP as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NPOV_dispute#POV_pushing, and I do not see any failings of the current procedure to address this.

  • Besides what others have said, this could be not necessarily related to Trump. Maybe it's something that will have manifested anyways even if Canada had conquered the US as its fourteenth province. I'd recommend a therapist if quieting things out doesn't work.
