Fun fact the gauges were also made to be idiot friendly. They report the average over a period (or similar) because if they reported the live reading users used to panic and think their car is breaking down seeing the gauge move.
I fucking despise them. They don't solve any problems. They're dangerous as objects on the road. They can get stuck in loops. They are ridiculously expensive to maintain. They are an integrated surveillance system. They don't even know how to truly drive; Waymo cheats by giving them maps, and the second that map no longer applies they fail miserably. They're dangerous to construction workers. They enable morons to drive and get away with it for long periods of time before disaster strikes, and when it strikes, someone else dies not the moron in the "driver's" seat.
Self driving cars are a replacement for classic public transport that is worse in every conceivable way.
Can't wait to see what loopholes they will implement such that I can avoid repairing my shit and pay full price for a new one anyway because the repair costs just as much as a new one. God forbid replacing a single bearing instead of the whole wash drum, I hope the EU protects me from that like before.
According to the former CIA guy that is doing rounds on the intnernet, Israel knew about 911 but didn't warn the us but that is about it. Not as if that isn't bad enough.
If you're in Romania, my company is also hiring (or hired, may have stopped now).
We hired 3 people in less than a year. But applications were en masse. Most people were pretty dumb. I think we hired about 1 in 100 people. Applications closed within a week usually.
