  • Oh god YES

    It's even worse in LibreOffice

  • Meanwhile in Excel copy-paste is basically wired in with hopes and dreams

  • I fucking despise them. They don't solve any problems. They're dangerous as objects on the road. They can get stuck in loops. They are ridiculously expensive to maintain. They are an integrated surveillance system. They don't even know how to truly drive; Waymo cheats by giving them maps, and the second that map no longer applies they fail miserably. They're dangerous to construction workers. They enable morons to drive and get away with it for long periods of time before disaster strikes, and when it strikes, someone else dies not the moron in the "driver's" seat.

Self driving cars are a replacement for classic public transport that is worse in every conceivable way.

  • This bit me so many times I have

    # USE ABSOLUTE PATHS, ASSUME ALL COMMANDS ARE UNDEFINED, SPECIFY ALL VERSIONS, REDIRECT OUTPUT

at the top of my local crontab so I remember from when I take something from it to prod, lol.

    Edit: formatting whoopsie

  • I think where the flower pattern doesn't match, one of the photos is flipped horizontally

  • Can't wait to see what loopholes they will implement such that I can avoid repairing my shit and pay full price for a new one anyway because the repair costs just as much as a new one. God forbid replacing a single bearing instead of the whole wash drum, I hope the EU protects me from that like before.

  • Deleted

    It's art

  • Don't bring AI slop to lemmy

  • According to the former CIA guy that is doing rounds on the intnernet, Israel knew about 911 but didn't warn the us but that is about it. Not as if that isn't bad enough.

  • Kids get consoles, adults get PC's. Unless you want to be locked into an ecosystem for the rest of your life.

If "you can't afford it" buy a second hand one you can afford and learn to be happy with past generation games which are often better anyway.

  • just Electronic

    The arts are missing

  • So, I guess, the same? LOL

  • you'd think BMW customers learned from that

Or you'd hope, I guess, because I actually wouldn't think them smart enough to learn from that

  • This cool project I found might get you that info

    http://neosearch.org/

It's new, free and open source, for now

  • The fact I've not had anything like that in as long as I've lived, and I'm no teen anymore

  • I want to see where I'm going, damn

  • Skill issue bro

  • If you're in Romania, my company is also hiring (or hired, may have stopped now).

We hired 3 people in less than a year. But applications were en masse. Most people were pretty dumb. I think we hired about 1 in 100 people. Applications closed within a week usually.

  • They didn't really develop it, it just kinda happened, because browsers send so much goddamn data to the servers

  • Guess I'm weirdfor looking high enough to see their face level instead of low enough not to see their bunda

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

Is there something we should be enrolling in, in Romania / EU?

  • Programming @programming.dev

I tried AI, was impressed by it, and it's embarrassing; Need advice
