  • Then be the meme :3

  • I love the Lemmy UI, and am a Gen Z. There's nothing worse than a UI that's slow, takes more time than necessary to load and is overloaded. I would much rather have bare HTTP forms or just make curl calls than using (new) reddit or Photon.

  • That would only work easily in your own network. As soon as you want access from other networks (mobile/work/etc.) you need to:

    • Get a public IPv4 from your provider. I got that easily, but idk if your provider can and will do this. Otherwise, there are proxy services.
    • Open port 80 (http) and 443 (https) in your router.
    • Very likely buy a domain (which is 1.4€ - 10€ per year, depending on the name and tld).
  • Most official/big instances get banned by youtube pretty quickly. To host your own, you essentially just run one docker compose, that's it. If you want it to be public, you'll need a public IPv4 and configure a reverse proxy (eg. nginx).

  • I've given you multiple thousands in revenue, the only times I stole something was a 1€ item because your self scan shopping cart is slow af, and freaks out if you put two items in where you need to manually select the size of both (yeah, of course I just bought 5l of Joghurt and not just 500ml, lol). And fixing it is hella complicated, so fix your system. And a plastic chip for the shopping cart, because I don't have coins, but need to lock away my bags (requiring one coin/chip) and get a cart (requiring one coin/chip). I scanned the receipt to get out of the sco area. Check the cams yourself, idiots.

  • Fuck that first graders, rain is fun

  • There's a stark difference between a braindead teenager flicking through ShitTok all day, 20% obvious ads, 50% hidden ads/sponsors, and not questions anything once. Then there's me, who, in the rare case I am forced to see an advertisement, purposefully remembers it to boycott that product.

If I realize that I know a product through an ad of some kind, I go out of my way to not buy that product. And if I don't remember, I still choose objectively - who treated the animals the best, what works the best etc. So if you want to sell me something, just don't fuck me over, and give me a nice experience, eg. open source drivers.

  • "Relatable"

  • Also means you can dynamically trade blankets for a hoodie, then move a blanket more down, because you're wearing a cute skirt (mainly during the day, when you're just a bit tired or want to binge watch something), and remove a blanket because you're cuddling sharks.

  • And fuck NVidia for implicitly making EVGA quit.

  • Idk, I rarely turn the radiator on at all. Even if it means sleeping with multiple blankets, it's much more cozy.

  • No one said the PC was for gaming - for AI etc. it's actually useful!

  • German here, with relatively moderate bullpigs. I never had bad experiences with them, and most reports of right-wing content (eg. in chats) pile in eastern germany (saxony etc.). And abuse from them is pretty rare afaik, but there are famous reports of drunk people being killed and one drunk non-white person being burned (maybe alive), again in eastern germany. Overall, here in western parts, I would trust them. Basically with everything. In eastern germany I'd be very careful with anything a right-winger might be biased against.

  • It's already returning 404 lol

  • You mean (uint32_t)-1 %

  • ChatGPT itself didn't do anything, FastGPT from Kagi helps me everyday though, for quickly summarizing sources to learn new things (eg. I search for a topic and then essentially just click the cited sources).

And ollama + open-webui + stable-diffusion-webui with a customized llama3.1-8b-uncensored is a great chat partner for very horny stuff.

  • Sorry that I'm not used to having all windows in the same context, differently sized by default, needing to manually arrange them again and again to do anything.

I hate stacking WMs, especially Windows.
