But yeah, modern HPC Processors have at least 48GB or so. And max. is the AMD Mi355X with 288GB VRAM afaik. Which is actually less than my servers RAM, ha! But also probably like a thousand times fasted, considering my RAM runs at 1600 MT/s.
Tbh, for myself I either want lossless (eg. professional photographs for an app) or don't care about size, due to small volume (eg. my own pics and vids) and also kinda want the originals. And in today's time, bandwidth isn't lacking (for most people, including me). So everything's just a png.
Yup, but I prefer to remember and type them in case I need to work with unnamed (streams)/custom named files or want to mess with people that only go by filename instead of file
Just more confirmation that centralized VPNs, and therefore basically all VPNs most people use, are doomed to fail in their purpose, and are sometimes worse than no VPN.
Look at it positively: Even if many skilled programmers get fired, it's not like most of us won't survive. And once the bubble pops, we're the ones needed the most. Including getting headhunted and good salaries.
As well as unmaintainable code, and in countries with good employment laws and/or employers, extremely unproductive employees. And a whole new generation split between skillful and LLM users.
