  • Grog brain is better - https://grugbrain.dev/

And it's crap like this that gives junior programmers justification to output god-awful code because they don't want to better themselves.

  • So, by using fossil fuels (which America has lots of), it causes more pollution, which heats up the world, which melts the ice, which exposes land under Greenland / the caps / which allows companies to drill and sell oil and gas...

That's Trump's real intention. To make more money for certain companies who have bribed paid him...

  • I agree, but subversion is awesome!

  • Good stuff. I always thought the image was being used in a nefarious way but haven't had time to investigate

  • This is an intervention. All your posts are full of vitriol. You need to take some time out.

  • I never believe "well, there's someone worse off than you" is ever the answer.

Otherwise, you being held in a basement, chained up, raped daily, mothering kids by your abuser is not a bad situation because, "hey, there's someone worse off than you."

  • They survey the building to make sure it's fit for habitation, what problems may arise and then write a detailed report and charge you loads of money for it.

  • Even if they toss it you’ll feel better for having written it.

Unfortunately, the property market is heating up now for spring, so I need to spend my time wisely. I think I'm just going to can all the listed properties of this estate agency. It's their fault that I couldn't have made an offer earlier because they refused to show me the basement because "they never had the key for it" - a common excuse from dodgy agencies - and with there being no photos of the basement it sounds fishy. I know it leaks, it's a 100yo property and neighbours have told me theirs does, but I think the agency wanted me to put an offer down without seeing it. When I specifically asked questions about it, they went unanswered, so I'm thinking maybe cracks.

    Strange, huh!

  • Yeah, most are registered with RICS. This one also owns a company that is an estate agency as well. As soon as I saw that, it clicked why he sounded really excited at it and then poof gone.

  • Do you think the HS2 will change things by opening up more tech positions and making it more competitive?

  • The north is very cheap to live. And they put gravy and cheese on their chips (as a non-Northerner sounds revolting until you try it).

  • what's your porn name?

  • OSU!

  • Do you think a post-grad will realistically help your employment opportunities?

  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is a trait of professional careers. Do you think doctors, nurses, etc only study on work time?

If you're not in such a professional field, discuss remuneration for doing it in your free time as the company will benefit. You need to figure out how much you want for a raise, and if things fall through remind them you'll be more employable and you can go elsewhere after passing. Maybe even push for an early raise now to keep you as it seems they like you.

  • I thought it referred to the tears of the children who were forced to... oh, nevermind.

  • Twenty thousand tons of ivermectin to Texas. Stat! That'll fix everything!

  • Uhm, REST/GraphQL APIs exist for this very purpose and are considerably faster.

Note, the AI still gets stuck in a loop near the end asking for more info, needing an email, then needing a phone number, and the gibber isn't that much faster than spoken word with the huge negative that no nearby human can understand it to check that what it's automating is correct!

  • during the long learning curve, one is usually grossly underpaid and sometimes scammed and or cheated.

See, that's the issue on such sites. Posters want a whole (e.g. e-commerce) project done for $100 because, "it won't take long" and then challenge your quotes with "well, I can get someone in bum|f*ck|land to do it for $100...". A game I don't want to play.

And sticking around and building a rep for a year is difficult when such sites have lots of scammers and sock accounts actively challenging you to make you look bad and their other alt accounts look good.
