Used PC that supports 3+ 3.5" Drive Bays? For Selfhosting NAS and Immich

Hi All. I have some hardware from 2007 that is currently "in use" as a failed NAS which I leave powered off. I get weird hardware errors and the capacitors on the motherboard look questionable. It is also an obsolete processor (AMD Athlon 64 X2) so I would basically need to buy at least a new motherboard, cpu, and ram, which is why I'm leaning towards a new (to me) used computer.

My main question is, what desktop computers on the used market would support 3 or 4+ SATA connections to hard disks, and/or room in the case for 3 or 4 x 3.5" Hard Disks? They are the most valuable part of my "NAS" and ideally I would like to reboot the operating system from these disks in a new hardware system.

I am looking for the most economical option, but I would be ok saving up for the appropriate part. I want the new system to be a NAS, I want to install immich on it, and possibly with a graphics card so I could run Immich's machine learning / image organizing functions on it.

Other parts I could reuse, but don't have to:

  • Cooler Master Case (there are some things iffy/wrong with it, like broken USB 2 ports.
  • Caicos XTX [Radeon HD 8490 / R5 235X OEM]
  • Sound Card: C-media CMI8738/CMI8768 PCI Audio
  • Several 2TB hard disks and one 128 GB SSD.
  • monitor
  • speakers

Here is my most recent hardware probe -- the hard disks are out of date, but the rest is fairly accurate: https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=8028d0a8d1

There were some reddit threads coming up with this search, but I wanted to ask here as well. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Used+Computers+with+3.5%22+drive+bays&ia=web

Thanks for your thoughts!
